One Nation. One People.
The Embassy of Liberia to the Court of St. James’s in London is the diplomatic mission of Liberia in the United Kingdom. It is currently located next to the embassies of Mozambique and Croatia on Fitzroy Square.
Our mission is to enhance our national security, advance our interest and reflect our values within the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, the Vatican and the Republic of Malta. We also facilitate visa applications for non-Liberians seeking to visit Liberia and passport applications for Liberians residing in the United Kingdom.
It is a profound honour to be appointed to serve my beloved country in this distinguished diplomatic capacity, as Ambassador of the Republic of Liberia at the court of St. James, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and the Northern Ireland. With over three decades of experience from the grassroots of diplomacy at various levels at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and across multiple missions, including Addis Ababa, London, Pretoria and Accra, I have had the privilege of learning about Liberian foreign policy and diplomatic etiquette and am deeply committed to contributing to the advancement of the country’s objectives and the strengthening our bilateral and multilateral partnerships. One of our many goals here at the Liberian Embassy near London, is to ensure the full implementation of the Arrest agenda of His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia which calls for the inclusive development of the Republic of Liberia. In so doing, we shall continue to leverage Liberia’s credibility among the comity of nations.
It is about the improvement of the lives of our people while advancing the dignity for and respect of our nation state.
As a career diplomat, and someone who has travelled through the stages in this profession, I trust I am able to employ my ability and insight along with the knowledge acquired over the years to continue promoting the positive effectuate the agenda of Liberia, especially now we are privileged to be seating on the Security Council of the United Nations.
I look forward to working closely with the host country officials, the African Missions group, fellow diplomats, and the Liberian diaspora to foster deeper cooperation, promote investment opportunities, and elevate Liberia’s voice on global platforms. It is with humility, pride, and a deep sense of duty that I resume this calling.
As I continue my diplomatic service, I hold a deep and enduring hope for the strengthening of the historical ties between the Republic of Liberia and the United Kingdom. Our two nations share a foundation built on mutual respect, shared democratic values, and a commitment to peace, development, and international cooperation.
I envision a future where Liberia and the UK expand collaboration in key areas such as education, trade, climate resilience, security, and good governance. I am particularly passionate about seeing more meaningful people-to-people connections—through academic exchanges, cultural engagement, and private sector partnerships—that enrich both our societies.
As we look to the years ahead, it is my hope that our partnership will not only grow in scope but deepen in impact, contributing to Liberia’s national development goals and to a more interconnected with the prosperous global community and with our experience deepen our leverage to resolve challenges on both bilateral and multilateral levels.
