Job Description

  • Maintain office systems, including data management and filing.
  • Screen phone calls, enquiries, requests and respond when appropriate.
  • Meet and greet visitors of all levels of seniority.
  • Maintain diaries and schedule appointments.
  • Engage with incoming emails, letters, post and correspond on behalf of the Ambassador.
  • Supervise and conduct background research on projects.
  • Produce documents, briefing papers, reports, and presentations when required.
  • Ensure Ambassador is well prepared for meetings.
  • Liaise with businesses, organisations, and staff members professionally.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for government officials.
  • Support further tasks set by the Ambassador.

Requirements

  • Previous experience is mandatory (2+ years).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluent in French or Italian (bonus).
  • Previous work experience in a diplomatic environment.
  • IT efficient (Microsoft).
  • Educational qualifications (preferred).
  • Reside in London.
