AMBASSADOR KENNEDY PRESENTS LETTERS OF CREDENCE TO HIS MAJESTY KING CHARLES III

London, United Kingdom — Her Excellency Ambassador Kennedy formally presented her Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Charles III at Buckingham Palace, thereby assuming her duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Liberia to the Court of St. James’s.

The presentation of credentials marks the official commencement of Ambassador Kennedy’s diplomatic mission in the United Kingdom and reflects the enduring and cordial relations between the Republic of Liberia and the United Kingdom.

During the audience with His Majesty, Ambassador Kennedy conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., President of the Republic of Liberia, and reaffirmed Liberia’s commitment to further strengthening the longstanding ties of friendship, cooperation, and mutual understanding between the two nations.

Ambassador Kennedy underscored Liberia’s desire to deepen bilateral engagement across key sectors, including trade and investment, education, governance, sustainable development, climate resilience, and cultural exchange. She also expressed her commitment to working closely with the Government of the United Kingdom and other stakeholders to advance shared interests and promote mutually beneficial partnerships.

Liberia and the United Kingdom enjoy a longstanding relationship founded on common democratic values, historical connections, and a shared commitment to peace, stability, and sustainable development. Ambassador Kennedy’s accreditation represents an important opportunity to further expand cooperation and strengthen people-to-people ties between the two countries.

As she begins her tenure, Ambassador Kennedy reaffirmed her dedication to promoting Liberia’s national interests, enhancing bilateral collaboration, and fostering stronger relations between the peoples of Liberia and the United  Kingdom.
